Most of the attention of a private lesson at a little over half the price each. Pair two siblings, two friends, or two children at the same rung of the ladder.

$100 a session for the pair, $50 per swimmer. Any age, any level.

The middle rung between group and private

The coach is split between two swimmers instead of a group of up to 4, so a correction lands within a few seconds rather than a few turns. A child also has someone beside them to swim against, and for a lot of children that is what makes them try.

Pairing is flexible. Siblings are the obvious case and the easiest to schedule, but two friends at similar levels work just as well, and if you come on your own we will help match your swimmer with a partner.

What each swimmer pays

The session costs $100 between two, which is $50 a swimmer: closer to a group rate for something much closer to a private lesson.

More focused than a group

One coach, two swimmers. A stroke fault gets corrected the moment it appears instead of at the end of the lane.

Someone to swim with

A sibling or a friend in the next lane changes how hard a child tries. Plenty of swimmers who stall alone move quickly in a pair.

Any level in the pair

Semi-private works at any age. Two swimmers at similar levels can be four and five years old, or nine and eleven.

What people ask before they book

How much are semi-private swim lessons?
$100 a session for two swimmers, which is $50 each. A session is 30 min with one coach for the pair, at our indoor 90°F pool in Hallandale Beach, and a lesson moves to another slot free of charge with 24-hour notice.

Can siblings share a semi-private lesson?
Yes, and siblings are the easiest pair to schedule. Two children at similar levels share one coach and split the $100 session, so each pays $50. Two friends pair up the same way.

Can you find a partner for my child?
Yes. Tell us roughly where your swimmer is in the water, and we pair them with a child at a similar level in a slot that suits both families.

Semi-private or group lessons: which suits my child?
In a group lesson one coach works with up to 4 children; in a semi-private lesson, with two, so every correction lands within seconds. A group is the lower monthly price, and semi-private is the faster step for a child who needs more of the coach.
