Adapted swim lessons, in a quiet pool

The quiet hours are the whole point

A learn-to-swim pool at four in the afternoon is loud, bright and full. For a swimmer who finds that overwhelming, the lesson is over before it starts. We have hours in the week when the water is nearly empty, and those are the ones we offer here.

The pool is indoors and standalone, so there is one room, one temperature and one set of sounds — and the water is held at 90°F, warm enough that a body under stress stays relaxed. Equipment for adapted lessons is already on site.

In short

What you get

What comes with every session

A pool at its quietest

We schedule these lessons when the building is nearly empty. Fewer people in the water means less noise, less echo and more room.

Adapted, one to one

Individual adapted therapeutic lessons, paced entirely by the swimmer. Water safety comes first, and swimming follows at whatever speed it follows.

What the water gives back

Time in water builds strength and flexibility, and the lesson itself builds social skills and self-awareness alongside them.

Children have a named program

Beyond Limits Aquatics is our program for children — 1:1 lessons with MARINO Adapted Aquatics certified instructors, published quiet-time slots and its own rate.

Tell us what makes a good hour

Every swimmer needs something different from the room. A call is how we find the hour and the coach that fit.
